Show COUNCILMAN H. M. STEELE RESIGNS Harry M. Steele, formally tendered tender-ed his resignation from the office of councilman of American Fork City in a communication sent to the council last Saturday. Mr. Steele stated he was moving away from American Fork and asked for a release. re-lease. He also expressed his desire for the success of the council in their future efforts to administer city affairs. Mr. Steele was elected to the office of councilman on the Repub- lican ticket in 1930 and until his business affairs necessitated his absence ab-sence from the city has served faithfully faith-fully and efficiently in this capacity. He was the holdover councilman at the time the present mayor and council took office January 1st, 1934. Mayor Storrs states the place in the council has not been filled but it is expected that at the regular meeting September 8th, a new councilman coun-cilman will be named to fill the unexpired term. . c |
