Show County Republicans Convention Con-vention Set for Sept. 28th Republicans of Utah county set September 26, as the date cf the; county convention and Springvilie as the place at the meeting of the ; central committee at Provo, Monday j evening. ! A total of 400 delegates will fit-j tend the convention, set on the j basis of five turns the number 80 j for the state convention- j John E. Booth of Spanish Fork, county chairman, named a comm'i fee of six, all city chairmen, to aid on the convention arrangements. In addition to Mr. Booth and Maurice! Harding, county secretary-, Mr. Chris-' tensen, Glen Sumsion and Frank Salisbury of Springvilie, tire committee com-mittee in charge is comprised of Henry Jeppson, Payson; James Anderson, An-derson, Spanish Fork; Raymond Holbrook, Provo; Henry E- McNeil, American Fork; Lyean Johnson. Pleasant Grove, and Abel G- Gud-mundsen, Gud-mundsen, Lehi. The group voted Monday night to allow the Young Men's Republican Repub-lican club $50 to publish three more issues, enlarged in size and extended in scope, of the "Young Men's Citizen," Citi-zen," party news sheet. Mr. Booth explained to the group what county candidates are to be nominated at the convention and stated also that a state committeeman committee-man and a committeewoman from the county will be selected at the convention. |
