Show Ten Years Ago Now (Taken from files of Dec. 8, 1923) This week a $3,000 heating and ventilating system, equal to any in the state, is being installed in th Realart Theatre. The work of in--stalling and improvements will take about ten days. Ten Years Ago Now Tile collection of taxes for American Ameri-can Fork ceased Friday noon of last week. Mrs. Sadie Bromley, deputy tax collector, reports over $58,000 was collected this year, being be-ing about $2,000 more than was turned in last year. Told who died in Chicago of complications following an operation opera-tion for appendicitis. The services were held Friday afternoon. Ten Years Ago Now Last Saturday afternoon, David Durrant, 11 year old son of Mrs. Eliza Durrant, was seriously injured when he was kicked in the head by a frightened horse. The child was rushed to the hospital and an operation opera-tion was performed Sunday by Dr. Middleton of Salt Lake. Ten Years Ago Now Mr. and Mrs. John F. Ten Years Ago Now In honor of the 76th birthday of Mrs. Hannas Dunkley, six of her nieces came over from Provo Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon and pleasantly surprised her. June, the 18 month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Peterson of Alpine, was severely scalded this week when she pulled a cup of hot water over on herself. |
