Show Services Held For Penumonia Victim The funeral services held in the Second ward chapel Saturday afternoon after-noon for Gordon Boley Hansen, who died of pneumonia the Tuesday previous, pre-vious, were well attended. There also were many lovely floral tributes tri-butes which conveyed the respect for the deceased and the Hansen f amily. Bishop Joseph H. Storrs was in charge of the services, which commenced com-menced at 2 o'clock. Mrs. C. E. Young sang "Going Home, with her daughter, Miss Edith Young, as accompanist. Prayer was offered by Lenard S. Harrington, following which Leland Friday played a violin solo "Lay My Head Beneath A Rose," Miss Lydia Olsen accompanying on the piano. The speakers for the occasion were Ernest J. Seastrand, a neighbor for a number of years of the family; President Clifford E. Young and Bishop Storrs. The closing number was "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" sung by Mrs. Young, Mrs. West Hammond, West Hammond and Leland Priday, with Miss Edith Young as accompanist. accom-panist. Interment was made in the American Amer-ican Fork cemetery where the grave was dedicated by Bishop Storrs. |
