Show American Fork Locals Mrs. Ray Coddington, Mrs. Glen Sykes and Mrs. V. F. Houston were among the Salt Lake City visitors on Saturday. Dr. and Mrs. G. S. Richards and family spent Thanksgiving day in Pleasant Grove, guests of Dr. Richard's Rich-ard's mother, Mrs. Hattie Richards. Mrs- Helen Heiselt, who underwent under-went an operation for appendicitis at a Salt Lake hospital last week, is reported to be improving very nicely. Mrs. Ada Baker resumed her -work at hemstitching at the American Fork Co-op. the first of the week, after visiting the past tnree weeks in Salt Lake City with relatives. Mrs. Francell presided over two tables of bridge at her home Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon. Prize for high score was won by Mrs. Manda Morrison. Early in the evening a delicious luncheon was served, sweet peas making attractive centerpieces for the small tables. The Primary officers and teachers of the First ward held their regular business and preparation meeting Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Samuel F. Grant. Following the various var-ious discussions, radio programs were enjoyed and a dainty lunch served. Enjoyable among the week's social events was the meeting of the Soror-sis Soror-sis ladies Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. L. A. Adamson. Sewing, Sew-ing, social chat) and radio music comprised com-prised the afternoon's diversions, followed by) a delicious lunch Special guests included Mrs. Glen Adamson of Lehi, and Mrs. Ruben Chipman of this city. |
