Show U ' M. I. A. Plans Appropriate Christmas Feature The regular stake M. I. A. union meeting was held Wednesday evening even-ing in the high school. The theme of the meeting was in sponsoring Christmas Caroling, and early morning morn-ing sacred services on Christmas. The officers of the M. I. A. feel that there is a need for remembering the real purpose of Christmas and they are attempting to call to the minds of the people the sacred nature of the day. A demonstration of Christmas caroling and how those who carry forward this fine tradition might he received in the homes of the Latter-day Latter-day Saints, Christmas Eve or early Christmas morning, was put over. It is hoped by the M. I. A. officers that organized groups of Christmas singers will visit the homes of tie people of this stake and that members mem-bers of the wards will respond by attending the early morning services for which splendid programs are being be-ing arranged. The presidents of the Y. M. M. I. A. and Y. L. M I A. of each organization of the stake and an active committee have charge of the work in their respective wards. |
