Show o i STORY HOUR A SUCCESS j The last "Story Hour" of the season sea-son was held in the Grove Tuesday evening, August 24th. There were j in attendance 201 persons and all seemed to enjoy the program, which included the following numbers: Dramatization of "Three Little Kittens," Kit-tens," by Emily Pederson; "Old King Cole," by Ida Brimhall; "Little "Lit-tle Bo Peep," Maymetta Johnson; "The Muffin Man," Ethel Carlson. Cookies were distributed to the children. These were donated by the Purity Biscuit company of Salt Lake City. The groups formed and listened to the following stories: Mrs. Pearson, "Lil Napoleon and the Watermil-lion; Watermil-lion; Daisy N. Nielsen, "Little Brown Bear" ; Lola Robbing, "The Little 1 chicks that Stayed Up Too Late." These were for the younger groups. The older groups were told, "The Salve Tooth Slayer," by Donna O. Ash; "The Substitute Pupil" Pu-pil" by Lacy O. White, and "Chem of the Sea" by Sytha W. Johnson. Songs were led by Viola T. Beers. Mrs. Hedve Christiansen, stake president, pres-ident, was in charge. |
