Show o Church News Mrs. Lucy G. Sperry of the General Gene-ral Board of the Sunday School will meet with the Primary department at union meeting Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Sperry will visit the Manila ward Sunday School in the morning. Ward Bishoprics are making their annual calls throughout the stake. At the Manila ward a member of the Mutual and Sunday School super-intendencies super-intendencies are accompanying them. Dean Walker has been secured as speaker for the Second ward sacrament sacra-ment meeting Sunday night. His subject is to be "Christmas." Musical Musi-cal numbers are being arranged by Ford Paulson, ward choirster. A good Christmas program will be given giv-en by the Sunday School. Friday evening the Windsor ward choir is presenting a program and dance to help raise funds to purchase pur-chase an electric organ. The Windsor ward bazaar held Wednesday of last w:eek with the evening program was very successful. The Adult classes which met with the Second ward Tuesday evening for a general get-to-gether and good time, report having enjoyed the gathering. Sunday School officers and teachers teach-ers of the Timpanogos stake will meet in union meeting Sunday afternoon af-ternoon at 2 o'clock in the Second ward. Dean Atwood. recently returned from the Australian mission, will be the speaker at the inird ward Sun-j day night. A good musical program is being arranged. The next Sunday Sun-day following, a special Christmas program will be presented. The Seagull class of the First ward entertained at a rally Tuesday, their mothers being the honor guests. Because of the fourth Sunday coming the day after Christmas it has been found advisable by the Genealogical Society of the Timpanogos Timp-anogos Stake to hold their union meeting on Sunday, December ISth. j in the Third ward meeting house at 2 p. m. A good attendance is desired. |
