Show Alpine News Mrs. L. Bates, Reporter. The many friends of Mrs. Harold Bair will be pleased to know that she is improving after a serious illness ill-ness of the past two weeks. Mrs. Joseph F. Marsh is reported j to be recovering nicely following an j operation which she underwent at j the Lehi hospital February 9. Her j many friends hope for her speedy recovery. Mrs. Jessie Burgess entertained the j Young Mothers Club at her home Thursday of last week. The usual activities were engaged in after which a dainty lunch was served. The many friends of Mrs. Don C. Strong Sr. will be grieved to learn that she is very ill at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Claud Conder at Olmstead at the mouth of Provo canyon, where she went for a visit several weeks ago. Miss Mary Bates spent several days this week at Provo where she was the guest of Miss Ruth Jones. The Old Folks committee is preparing pre-paring to give all the old folks of Alpine a splendid good time-today, February 24th. The guests of honor will gather at 11:30 at the Recreation Recrea-tion Hall. Dinner will be served at 12 o'clock. At 2 o'clock a program will be given to which the public is invited. The program will be as follows, under the direction of R. W. Wiser chairman: Song "America." Prayer Alma Vance. Welcome Speech Lewis Cameron. Response Martha Strong.
