Show I u High School Notes Kayle Linebaugh, H. S. Reporter. TOO BAD A, F. HERE COMES THE VIKINGS The Vikings are showing their ability to over-power the Cavemen. They have new suits and they mean to look as good as their suits. The members of the team have made pledges as to what they will do tonight to-night with American Fork. Captain Peterson will hold Kirkpatrick score- j less and make 10 points himself. Gourley will stay with Devitt 'throughout the game and shut him out. Smith will make basket and break up A, F.'s defenses in order to score. Walker will rustle the ball at all times and keep the old "fighting "fight-ing spirit." Warburton will be a shooting threat from any place on the floor. ; P. G. is coming plenty strong, THE STUDENT BODY WILL BE THERE AND WILL SUPPORT THE TEAM, So beware, B-E-W-A-R-E, Cavemen. LIMITED TIME FOR ACTIVITIES Every activity with the exception of basketball has been requested to limit their time to 45 minutes instead of 90 minutes. Beginning Monday all students except those participating participat-ing in athletics will 'be dismissed at 4 o'clock. Basketball will continue as before from 3:10 until 5:30. G. A. A. PARTY The annual G. A. A. party will be held Saturday night, January 12th. The party is being sponsored under the direction of Wanda Cullimore. The evening will be spent in games, dancing and refreshments. The members will bring their partners and a delightful time Is expected. G. A. A. stands for Girls Athletic Association, there being seventy-five members. H. S. JUDGING TEAMS PLACE HIGH Pleasant Grove was well represented represent-ed at the Sixteenth Annual Livestock show. Two teams, a livestock judging judg-ing team, and a crop judging team, scored very high in group contests. The teams consisted of Ray Downs, Don Gray, LaVar Hooley, Very Mar-rott, Mar-rott, Forrest Smith and Eugene Young, accompanied by Mr. Clark agricultural instructor. I HIGH SCHOOL DANCING i CLASS UNDER WAY ; A social dancing class is being held , weekly, every Monday night at 6 ! o'clock. Tims far the cla.ss has been ;very successful. Students are very interested ar.d seem over anxious to I . learn the different types of dances. Parts of the Merry Widow Waltz! have been introduced and those tak-j ing the class are learning very quick- j I ly. The class is under direction of! j Miss Margaret Slagg. j |
