' A total of 313 youths and men registered Tuesday and Wednesday at the American Fork city hall for the district comprising American Fork, Highland and Alpine. Arnold Dixon, county representative of Provo, was assisted by Lenaixi Pet, Roy Greenwood, Mrs. Laura Beck and Mrs. Edna Robinson in this new .abor registration. In addition to these, registrations there are 350 already on the R. F. C. lists which when duplications are taken out gives a total of fully 600 youths and men who need work. A small number of local men are now being used on road projects in .he comity and it is expected that :nore will be put to work on the new tate road and American Fork canyon can-yon projects starting in this locality n the near future. r |
