Show Crain and Thresher Thresh-er Destroyed By Fire A small stock af unthreshed grain estimated at fifteen bushels, together to-gether with the seperator belong-in& belong-in& to the farmers of this district was destroyed by fire on the Will-lam Will-lam Larson place Tuesday afternoon about five o'clock. Prompt response from .the Amercan Fork fire department depart-ment saved the granary in which sacked grain of Mr. Larson's was stored. The loss of unthreshed grain was sustained by Ren Anderson Ander-son of this city, the loss of the separator by the Farmers Threshing Thresh-ing Machine Company, and some stables from which the animals were removed also burned. These were Mr. Larsons. The machine had been at the W. W. Warnlck place and finished there about two o'clock, moving from ithere to the Larson farm, where one stack had 'been threshed out. It is not certain just how the fire started but the blaze was first discovered in the grain stack under un-der the front of the separator. Stanley Chipman was in charge of this thresher and was at the training train-ing school booking another job when the fire occured. He made a trip to Salt Lake county Wednesday Wednes-day to negotiate for another separator. sep-arator. o |
