Show Firemen Schedule Meeting Sunday Members of the Utah-Juab Firemen's Fire-men's association and their ladies will hold their regular meeting at American Fork, Sunday afternoon. More than eighty persons are' expected ex-pected to attend the gathering, which will be held in the Harrington Harring-ton school amusement room at 2 o'clock. Fire Chief Thomas Powers of Lehi, president of the association, will preside over the meeting. An address of welcome will be given by Mayor O. DeVere Wootton, followed fol-lowed by a response by a member of the association. Following the meeting and program, a luncheon will be served. Among the special guests who have indicated they will be in attendance at-tendance are Earl James of Bingham, Bing-ham, president of the Utah State Firemen's association; John J. Creedon of Bingham, secretary of the state organization; Battalion Chief J. K. Piercey of Salt Lake City, a trustee of the slate lire-men's, lire-men's, and Charles Canning of Midvale, treasurer of that organization. organ-ization. Two trustees of the state association, Harry Elmer of Spanish Span-ish Fork and John Hannifon of Eureka, who are also members of the Utah-Juab Firemen's association, associa-tion, also are expected to attend. |
