Show Pleasant Grove Locals Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ferguson and daughter, Colleen, of Provo, were visitors Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Green. H. W. Jacobs is expected to return re-turn home from a business trip to Chicago, as this issue of The Review Re-view goes to press. Coming here to attend the funeral funer-al services for Joseph Fage, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Thome and daughters daugh-ters of Copperton, Mr. and Mrs. Silas Thorne of Bingham and Mrs. Mark Strong and daughter of Salt Lake City visited at the home of Mr. and Mi's. Duane Harper, Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. H. W. Jacobs and Mrs. Mary Price spent Monday in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence D. Olpin and son Don, of Salt' Lake City, visited at Mr. and Mi's. G. W. Lar-sen's Lar-sen's home over the week-end. Mrs. Olpin and son came Thursday to make a longer visit, and Mr. Olpin , came Saturday. They returned together, to-gether, S"unday. Guests at the home of Mi-, and Mrs. Byron Adamson, part of last week, were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Davis of Salt Lake ICity and Mrs. Hugh Davis of Vineyard. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Frank Heidenreich and Mr. and Mrs. Karl Banks pleasantly surprised Mrs. Joseph In honor of the seventieth birthday birth-day anniversary of Mrs. John Dick-erson, Dick-erson, members of her family spent the day with her Sunday. Friends of Forrest Loader entertained enter-tained at a surprise party on his birthday, at the home of Mark Bez-zant Bez-zant on Wednesday of last week. Present besides the guest of honor were Betty Carlson, Bernice Hrein-son, Hrein-son, Laura Adams, Virginia Bezzant, Helen Richins, John Atwood, Keith Bezzant, Kelly Giles and, Mark Bezzant. Mrs. Leah Bullock entertained the Merry Makers club at her home Monday evening. . Members present were Mrs. Wanda Adams, Mrs. Mary Price, Mrs. Mary Jacobs, Mrs. Louise Heidenreich, Mrs. Lois Harris, Mrs. Natie Wilberg, Mrs. Josephine Smith Mrs. Thelma Swenson, Mrs. Ruth Gammette, Mrs. June Walker, Mrs. Norma Armitstead, and Mrs. Theda Parduhn. The evening was spent in playing Monte Carlo. First prize was won by Mrs. Louise Heidenreich, and consolation award by Mrs. Norma Nor-ma Armitstead. A Valentine scheme was carried out in the decorations and luncheon. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Atkinson and two daughters, of Salt Lake City, were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Atkinson's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Wes-ley Jense. Mr. and Mrs. Burton H. Adams went to see the moving picture, "Gone With the Wind," at Salt Lake City, Monday night. Merrill N. Warnick of Pleasant Grove attended meetings of the farm committee, held at the state capital Tuesday. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Hilton on Tuesday were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Crowell of Salt Lake City. Forty visiting teachers of the Second Sec-ond ward were in attendance at a social in their honor, Tuesday afternoon. af-ternoon. A program and social were enjoyed, and refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stewart and daughter, Diane, of Heber were visitors vis-itors at the home of Mrs. Stewart's sister, Mrs. Byron Adamson. Tuesday evening at the general assembly of the Manila ward M. I. A., State Highway Patrolman Melvin W. Grant gave a very instructive in-structive talk on traffic safety. A very pleasant social was enjoyed en-joyed by the Relief society members mem-bers of the Third ward, Tuesday afternoon. An informative and interesting talk on "The Value of Archaeology Bible Lands" by William C. Smith, principal of the Timpanogos stake seminary, featured a meeting of the Mothers' club, Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Reva Fugal entertained the club at her home. Musical selections, selec-tions, two accordian solos, w:ere given by Pearl Beck. Mr. and Mrs. J. Fish Smith and family of Salt Lake City, visited at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam C. Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Brimhall, Sunday. Officers of the S'econd ward Primary Pri-mary association held their regular meeting and social Wednesday night. Mrs. Oral Wright was the hostess i Saturday evening an enjoyable housewarming party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Jense, with members of their club from Provo, and a few special guests in attendance. A hot dinner was served at a cleverly arranged table, decorated with candy vases of ! flowers and employing valentines as placecards. Games were played, Mrs. O. Blaine Larson and Mrs. Afton Payne winning the prizes. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Afton Payne, Mr. and Mrs. O. Blaine Larson, Lar-son, Mr. and Mrs. Baxter Leyshon, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Jeffs, Mr. and Mrs. LeGrand Holland, Mr. and Mrs. Nello Westover, Mrs. Iva Benson, Ben-son, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Van Wagenen and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Griffiths of Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. J.
