Show Takes Prominent Part In U. of U. Social Activities Donna Lou Davis of American Fork has been prominent in social activities centering around annual "Rush Week" at the University of Utah. New members for Greek letter let-ter social organizations are recruited recruit-ed during "Rush Week," chiefly from the ranks of freshmen, by active ac-tive members of sororities and fraternities, fra-ternities, and it is a week of gala social activities and gaiety for all. Miss Davis, who is a member of Kappa Happa Gamma, served as a member of the committee in charge of the sorority's "preference banquet" ban-quet" on Friday night, and also responded re-sponded to one of the toasts. Guests entered the sorority house through the traditional garden of fleur-de-lis and the "Garden Gate". Donna Lou is a graduate of American Amer-ican Fork high school, w-here she was active in dramatics, and is at present a sophomore at the U. She is studying speech and English, is a member of Speech Arts and allied speech organizations. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Davis, of American Fork. o |
