Show Funeral Services Held For Henry Smith Funeral services were held Thursday Thurs-day at 2 p. m. in the Windsor ward chapel for Henry Smith, who died at the State Mental Hospital Tuesday. Councelor James Marrott was in charge. . "Let the .Lower Lights he Burning" was sung by a quartette compose1! of Odeal Kirk, Harold Johnson, Reed Hales and Leon Gordon as an opening open-ing number. Invocation was offered by Edmun Cragun. A duet, "I Know that my Redeemer Lives" by Vola and Helen Johnson was the next selection. The speakers were J. W. Gillman, Stanley Harris, T. A. Atkinson At-kinson and Bishop A. H. Lowe. Other mtusical numbers consisted of a. solo "Sweet Hour of Prayer" by May Baxter, and a quartette number by Ethel Lowe, Nona Baxter, Leon Gordon and Reed Hales. The benediction bene-diction was pronounced by Wilford J. Stark. Interment was in Pleasant Grove City cemetery. o |
