Deleal Yergensen of Monroe, Utah visited Thurs-day and Friday here with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Christensen. Mr. Yergensen Yergen-sen just returned to his home Saturday Satur-day from California, where he spent two years as an L. D. S. missionary. Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Noyes have moved to Salt Lake City, an'd will be at home to their friends at 144 Kimball Kim-ball Apartments. ' Dr. Noyes is establishing a medical practice there and will make his office in the Medical Medi-cal Arts Building. Mrs. Mary Robinson and son, Lamar, left Thursday for Long Beach California, to spend the winter months. They will be guests at the home of Mrs. Robinson's daughter, i Mrs. Bertie Louis, during their stay. Mrs. DeLos Adams was a visitor in Salt Lake City on Saturday. Mrs. Emma Jenkins, who teaches school in Salt Lake City, was a week, end guest at the Roy Steele home. Lennis Abel is in Montana for an indefinite trip with his uncle, Hyrum Christensen of Tremonton, who is there on business. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Mercer and baby son, Richard, of Bingham Canyon, Can-yon, were in American Fork Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. DeLos Penrod, parents of Mrs. Mercer. Mrs- 0. C. Andreason returned home Sunday from Pocatello, Idaho, where she spent two months visiting her daughter, Mrs. Hyrum Helm, and family. The members of the Relief Society Stake Board attended the general semi-annual Relief Society conference confer-ence in Salt Lake Thursday. Mrs. Laura Dunkley attended the annual State Welfare convention at the Newhouse Hotel in Salt Lake Tuesday in the interest of the Alpine Stake Relief Society. Mr. and Mrs. H. F. McCullough and family, Miss Evadore Nelson and Miss Margaret Christensen of Salt Lake City, were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H, Preston. Mr. and Mrs. Merrick Munger of Sparks, Nevada, spent the week here visiting with Mrs. Munger's parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Baker. Mrs. Munger was formerly Miss Lois Baker. Mr. and Mrs. James Oler and fata, ily and Mr. aild Mrs. Lee E. Bitters and baby of Shelley, Idaho, visited from Sunday until Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Hayden Holindrake and family, previous to their leaving for California, where they expect to make their home for an indefinite period. The Fourth Ward Sunshine committee com-mittee entertained last Friday in honor of Mr. arid Mrs. Otto Brandt. The entertainment was at the Brandt home, and consisted of music and 'games, followed by refreshments. There were twenty eight present including in-cluding President and Mrs. C. E. Young, special invited guests. Complimentary to Mrs. Mary C. Robinson, who left late in the week for California to spend the winter months, the Fourth Ward Relief Society entertained Monday evening at the home of Miss Ann Chipman-Mrs. Chipman-Mrs. Robinson has been an active member in the ward organization. Music and games were the evening's diversions, followed by refreshments. Howard Paxman has accepted a position with the Bank of American Fork, filling the vacancy left by Mack Chipman, who has discontinued discontinu-ed to attend the U. A. C at Logan this winter. Mr. Paxman commenced his new activities on Monday-Miss Monday-Miss Katherine Karren left Tuesday Tues-day morning for San Francisco, California, in company with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Regan, who were returning re-turning horn after spending a two weeks vacation in Utah visiting relatives- Miss Karren will remain, indefinitely in-definitely in the sunny state. Fall flowers artistically decoralted the entertaining rooms. Five tables of bridge were played, Mrs. Hewitt M-Strong M-Strong of Provo receiving the high score prize, and Mrs. John W. Grant of 'this city the consolation favor. Following the card diversion, a delicious deli-cious luncheon was served.
