Show Third Ward at Mutual DeU On Thursday The Third ward members will leave on Thursday morning at 8 o'clock for the DelL All food and bedding is to be registered at the home of Edith Jacklin during the afternoon of Wednesday. After arrival ar-rival at the Dell the morning will be spent in making camp and dinner din-ner will be served at 12 noon. At 1 p. m, a short hike will be conducted con-ducted which will be filled with interesting in-teresting things you can't afford to miss. Games and stunts will complete com-plete the afternoon with the evening eve-ning meal at 6, a program and dance following. " Friday all those desirious of making mak-ing the Timp hike will leave camp at 2 a. m. Those remaining in camp will conduct flag raising at 7 with breakfast at 8 a. m. Games and entertainment will be prepared for the entire day with a rousing good program in the evening. Saturday is Ward Day and the entire ward is invited to make special efforts to make this their day to join those camped in the canyon. The morning activities will consist of competitive games, races and stunts. Dinner will be served at 12 noon. The main feature of the afternoon will be a big ball game. This game is planned t hold many surprises to both the players and those who will be in the ranks of the boosters. The evening program will be campfire with a host of interesting in-teresting events to take place. Sunday will be a day to be remembered re-membered by all those attending as it is to include Sunday School at 10:00. The speaker will be Sidney B. Sperry, with illustrations of dress and customs of the Holy Land. In the afternoon bne of the Forest Rangers will conduct a nature hike. The evening will be Hawaiian night, Mrs. Clifford E. Young being the main speaker. Special music has been arranged that will also be Hawaiian. Ha-waiian. The ward will leave the Dell Monday Mon-day Morning when the Fourth ward will arrive for three days of fun. 1 |
