Show Pleasant Grove Locals j Mr. and Mrs. Ira Leffler of Park City, spent Saturday and Sunday with Mrs. Lefflcr's father, James A. Nelson. Mrs. Lettie Houston, who has been visiting with friends in Salt Lake, is visiting with Mr- and Mrs. J- L. Theobald-Mr. Theobald-Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Warnick and Mrs. Christene Warnick motored to the L. D. S. hospital Sunday to visit with Wilford Warnick of Hink-ley, Hink-ley, Utah, who is in the hospital suffering with an injured spine. Mr- and Mrs. Josiah Kemp, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Williamson and Mr. and; Mrs- James D- Thorne attended the Utah State Firemen's convention conven-tion at Heber Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence B. Smith j Mrs. Elroy Gillman is visiting in-I in-I definitely with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Eskil Pomroy, in California. Mrs. Sylvia Onion of Chicago, 111., is visiting indefinitely at the home of Dr. B. C. Linebaugh. The Windsor ward choir will enjoy a swimming party at Park-Ro-She near Springville, tonight (Friday). Mrs. Isaac Harris and daughter, Natie, and Miss Beth DeCamp were guests Tuesday afternoon of Mrs. Eldon Bone at Lehi. Mi-, and Mrs- Robert Marrott made a business trip to Salt Lake City Tuesday- Mrs. Roy Fage has been visiting the past week with relatives and friends in Salt Lake City-Mrs. City-Mrs. Clark Conder and baby of Salt Lake City, have been visiting the past week at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Gillman. lof Little Rock, Arkansas, are spending spend-ing their vacation visiting with Utah relatives. While in Pleasant Grove Clarence spent most of his time with his mother, Mrs. D. M. Smith. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Gillman, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gillman, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Swenson, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Hales, Mrs. Mary Jarman, Mr. and Mrs. James Gillman, Thelma and Elroy Gillman and Mrs. Annie Gillman Gill-man attended the Gillman family reunion at Vernal on Wednesday. Bishop and Mrs. D. B. Thorne, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley B. Keetch, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Keetch, Mrs. Emily Aston, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Meecham, Mr. and Mrs. William Cvillimore, Mrs. May K. Walker, Mrs. Luella Culii-more Culii-more and Dr. Lloyd B. Cullimore and family of Provo, will motor to st Charles. Idaho, next Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Cullimore and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ferguson of Edgsmont, left Saturday for Fish Lake where they expect to remain a week. Miss Phyllis Jones of Salt Lake City, was a week-end guest at the, home of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Griffin. LeRoy Smith and Marvin Olsen, who have been employed in the Mo-apa Mo-apa Valley the past five months, returned re-turned home Tuesday. Dr. and Mrs. G. Y. Anderson returned re-turned home the first of the week from a vacation trip through Yellowstone Yellow-stone park. Mr. and Mrs. Rollo Hendrickson of Wallsburg, visited at the Archie Boren home Monday. where they will attend the Keetch reunion on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. John E. Nelson of Lyndyl, Mrs. Adeline Nelson, Mrs. Leone Told and son, Bill, of this city, motored to Unitah County Sunday Sun-day and spent the day visiting with Miss Myrtle Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Nelson, who is county nurse in Uintah County. Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Christiansen returned the last of the week from a trip to Chicago, New York and 1 other eastern cities. They attended the exercises at Hill Cumorah and : visited relatives in New Jersey. They reptart a very excellent trip. The Misses Ada and Lula Burr of Susanville, California, are visiting indefinitely at the Elvin Farr home. Oliver Johnson returned home recently re-cently from Boulder City, where he has been employed in the Boulder Cafe for the past eighteen months. Fifteen Boy Scouts of the Windsor ward with Alvin Kirk and George Pratt in charge, left Monday morning morn-ing for a trip to Bryces canyon. Lgone Cooper, accompanied by Miss Crystelle Mathis of Salt Lake, left Sunday by motor for a vacation trip to Seattle, Portland and other points of interest in the northwest. LeRoy Smith and Marvin Alson motored to Tabonia Tuesday. Mrs. Retta Smith Crease returned to Pleasant Grove with them to visit with relatives here. Reriorts came from the L. D. S. Mr. and Mrs. George L. Smith and son, Don, and Mrs. Sadie Chandler will leave the last of the week for a two week's vacation trip through Glacier National park and pbints, of interest in Washington and Oregon states. The Mothers Club entertained at an AUiambra piarty Tuesday evening eve-ning in honor of Mrs- Arminta Hayes, who is moving to Salt Lake City in the near future. After the show at the Alhambra, the group enjoyed' refreshments and social chat at the home of Mrs. C. O- Jensen. Jen-sen. Eleven club members were present. The Vivo 4-H club held a party at the home of their leader, Mrs. Ida West. Lloyd Gray returned home Tuesday Tues-day from California where he has been employed as cook for the National Na-tional Guard unit, who have been training in California for the past j three weeks. Howard Nelson will leave Monday to manage an orchestra at Jackson, I Wyoming. He expects to be gone j about six weeks until Yellowstone park travel season is over. H. E. Farr attended the funeral of his sister at Binghampton, Arizona, Saturday, August 3. She was one of the seven persons who were killed in the accident when returning from Covered Wagon Days at Salt Lake, .Tnlv 24t.h.
