Show Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Pox are the happy parents of a son, born last week. Mother and son are doing well. Ernest Dean of American Fork, was one of the twenty-four track and field athletes of the B. Y. TJ. who won a first place In a dual meet or placed in the running in the state or conference meets. These athletes were awarded letters at exercises ex-ercises held Monday at the-"Y." The Sunday school class, taught by Melvin Grant of the First ward, enjoyed an outing at Saratoga last Wednesday night. Last night the class taught by Mrs. Le Roy Mecham I and John Van Wagoner were at the Springs. Members of the superin-tendency superin-tendency were also in the parties. Am. Fork Locals Hyrum and Reed Davis, Creed Gammell, Albert Gillespi, Farre Baxter, Ralph Gillespi, Eldon Draper, Dra-per, Laurence Ashton, Carl Kelly, Howard Cunningham and LeGrande Wilde left this week for Chinook, Montana, where they will be employed em-ployed for several months. The recent marriage of Miss Reva Roberts and Marion W. Poulsonhas been the motif for several charming charm-ing social events during the week past. Thursday night of last week Mrs. William Roberts Jr., Mrs. Ralph J. Roberts and Mrs. Sterling Adams entertained at the William Roberts Sr. home, 45 guests being present. Saturday night Miss Gracs Parker entertained a number of young friends of the bride at her home. Wednesday night of last week the bride was the honor guest at a party given by Mrs. WilfordPoul-son WilfordPoul-son at her home in Provo. All were in the nature of bridal affairs and many lovely gifts were tendered the couple. I Mrs. George F. Shelley is spending spend-ing this week in. Jensen visiting with I her daughter, Mrs. De Mar Dudley ' -and family. Mr. and Mrs. Albert S. Mott with Mr. and Mrs. Royal Mott of Provo and Mrs. Glen Sabey of Lehi motored motor-ed to Ogden Thursday and spent the day visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mott. Mrs. Wilford Morrison of Orange, California, and Mrs. Ed Larson of ; Salt Lake, visited their sisters, Mrs. George Adams, Mrs. George Meredith Mere-dith and Mrs. -Wilson Cunningham, and their brother Albert Rowley and their families here Wednesday. The family gathered at the George Adams home and enjoyed dinner, covers being laid for fifteen. |
