R. Overlade is arranging music. Ten Years Ago Now The Domestic Art department of the high school had the school year's work on display Friday in the class rooms. Ten Years Ago Now The local high school completed its year's work Friday, May 25th. Each department feels it has accomplished a great deal. The student body officers for the past year were: Odeal Kirk, president; Helen Swenson, Swen-son, vice-president, and Rita Page, secretary-treasurer. Ten Years Ago Now The committee on the Clean Home and Town campaign wishes to urge the continuance for one week of the putting of our homes, lots, etc., in tip top shape for Strawberry Day. Ten Years Ago Now Two babies arrived here this week, a girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. George Paul of Manila, and a boy to Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Adams of Pleasant Grove. Ten Years Ago Now The Relief Society of Manila ward was reorganized recently and Mrsj Christina Warnick and her counselors, counse-lors, Mrs. Louisa Ells and Mrs. Hilda Meredith were released. Mrs. Adena Swenson was sustained as president, with Mrs. Maude G. Warnick and Mrs. Fem W. Edwards as counselors. Ten Years Ago Now Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Downs are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby girl, born May 19th. Ten Years Ago Now Merrill Wamick of Manila, entertained enter-tained the officers of the M. I. A. and the Dramatic Association members mem-bers at his home Thursday evening. Ten Years Ago Now Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Electa Miller of this city and Mr. Theron Herrick of Neola. |
