Show fmify honors Richard J. and (kene Miller on anniversary rtard J. and Olivene Duke celebrated their 50th wedding I'ersary on Tuesday evening a dinner and program at the , of their daughter, MarJean fckand Olivene were married in City on Aug. 13, 1938. Their ;i(rjage was later solemnized in -jProvo LDS Temple. , ney have lived in American rjk since their marriage, with the ,spiion of three years in Penn-.,l,ania Penn-.,l,ania where Dick was srintendent for Jonel Conation Con-ation Co. Prior to that time, he and operated Richard J. i ftr Construction Co. He built ' 37 schools and other public buildings in Utah County. He worked for Weyher Construction Company for 10 years. Since his retirement he spends his time building cabinets and furniture, fur-niture, fishing and keeping a beautiful yard. Olivene is a devoted wife and mother. She has served in numerous church positions and was active in PTA and civic affairs for many years. She enjoys her work at the Name Extraction Center. They are the parents of three children: Larry, Mesa, Arizona; Michael (Mick) and MarJean Sawyer, both American Fork. They have 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Richard and Olivene Miller |
