Show Ewell Alfard Chadwick Ewell Alfard Chadwick, Chad-wick, 65, of Layton. died Saturday, July 25, 1987 at the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City of heart failure. He was born April 8, 1922 in American Fork, a son of Alfred and Alice M. Ewell Chadwick. Chad-wick. He married Leah Ray Crawford Nov. 21, 1950 in Elko, Nev. He was reared and educated in American Fork, graduating from American Fork High School. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was a retired technical sergeant in the Air Force. He traveled extensively, living in New Mexico, Germany, France and Hawaii. He had lived in Layton for the past 20 years. He retired in 1981 from Hill Air Force Base, where he had worked as an aircraft inspector. He was a veteran of World War II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Surviving are his widow of Layton; two sons: David F. Chadwick, Chad-wick, Layton; Richard Chadwick, Oak Harbor, Wash.; five grandchildren; grand-children; two brothers and three sisters: Tom Chadwick, Mrs. Daryl (Joyce) Withers, both of American Fork; John Chadwick, Ogden; Mrs. Nephi (Elaine I Campbell, American Fork; Mrs. Don (Phillis) Christen. Pleasant Grove. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1074 N. Fairfield Road. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Fort Douglas Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded. |
