Show Local residents nominated for theatre guild awards Several local members of the valley's theater community have been nominated for the Utah Valley Theatre Guild's fifth Annual Awards Celebration. The awards will be presented Friday, Feb. 6, at a semi-formal gala at the Provo Excelsior Hotel. Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. and the awards presentation will begin at 8 p.m. The Theatre Guild promotes good theater in Utah Valley. Each year approximately 20 reviewers from I theguild attend the various i productions staged in the area. I ; At the end of the year, a final ; ballot is complied, nominations are ; made and the reviewers vote on the ) best performances. Everyone is invited to the dinner and the awards.
