He said an individual can rent movies at Video For You for $1 without a membership at the business, however, paying the membership fee of $4.95 entitles you to three free movies of your choice, and other benefits. For example, with a membership at the store, you can also take advantage ad-vantage of the "red tag specials," specials which allow you to rent the movie for 49 cents. "The red tags are rotated on a daily basis, so most of the movies get a red tag at one time or another," Tharp said. He said a video machine can be rented for $1 with at least two movie rentals. Tharp said they carry a good selection of movies including action, adventure, comedy, drama, western, cartoons, etc. "Action and adventure movies are the most popular at the present time," he said - and, of course, cartoons for the youngsters.
