Recipients of the 1986 questionnaires are asked to answer all questions and mail the completed com-pleted forms back to the Census Bureau in postage-paid envelopes on April 1 or as soon thereafter as possible. Most questions are similar to the ones asked in previous censuses: age, race, sex, marital status, income, in-come, education, type of housing unit, type of heating fuel used, value of the home or average monthly rent paid, and so on. These basic questions also will be asked in 1990. |
