A second year teacher she teaches Art, Eneli andYearbook. 6 By KALYN SECRETAN New teachers at the Pleasant Grove Jr. High joined the Pleasant Grove PTA Council where they were introduced by Principal Kent Rowley at the November meeting. Council President, Eva Er-canbrack Er-canbrack made bread "Care Bears," and they were given to the new vice-principal and teachers. Randy Honaker has joined the faculty and staff as assistant principal. Mr. Honaker, a former choral teacher taught at Grovecrest and Orem Jr. High. John Krommenhoek is serving as an administrative aid. Mr. Krommenhoek takes care of the in-school in-school suspension program. He has worked with youth in custody programs. John Wardenburg teaches ninth grade geography. A first year teacher, Mr. Wardenburg coaches baseball during the summer in Pleasant Grove. Jeff Rowe, a second year teacher taught last year in Alaska. He teaches English at the Junior High. Mary Kerr is the new Physical Education teacher and basketball coach. She has been teaching at the Alternative High School in Pleasant Grove. Leilani Sheen is a new English teacher. She taught previously at American Fork Junior High, quit to raise a family and has returned to teaching. Theru Lue Johnson transferred from American Fork High. School, She is teaching English and French. |
