Show Shanna Lynn Nielsen gets award P : : iiiC'lli'll' 5 : i MM 8, illiSlfsilil The United States Achievement Academy announced recently that Shanna Lynn Nielsen has been named a United States National Award winner in track. This award is a prestigious honor very few students can ever hope to attain. In fact, the Academy recognizes less than 10 percent of all American high school students. Shanna, who attends Pleasant Grove Jr. High was nominated for this National Award by Wendy Aston, a Girls Physical Education Teacher at the school. Shanna will appear in the United States Achievement Academy Official Yearbook, published nationally. "Recognizing and supporting our youth is more important than ever before in America's history. Certainly Cer-tainly United States Achievement . Academy award winners should be congratulated and appreciated for their dedication to excellence and achievement," said Dr. George Stevens, Executive Director of the United States Achievement Academy. Shanna Nielsen Shanna is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Lyman Nielsen. The grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. -Forest L. Giles of Lindon and Mr. and Mrs. George L. Nielsen of Pleasant Grove. |
