Salisbury of Orem announce the marriage of their daughter, Eileen, on Friday, June 6, 1986. She will marry Richard A. Clasby II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Clasby of Pleasant Grove in the Provo LDS Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that same evening from 7-- 9 p.m. at the Bungalow in Pleasant Grove. Attending the bride will be Paula Palmer, Jennifer Salisbury, Tracy Clasby and Jennifer Clasby. Best man will be John Neven-swande- r. Prenuptial showers were given by Marnae Ballentyne, Cherie Car-penter, Carolyn Donaldson and Paula Palmer. The bride-elec- t graduated from Mountain View High School and has attended USU and UTC. She was a member of the LDSSA Council at UTC. The prospective groom graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. He served a mission to Fresno, California. He attended UTC. Carlisle, Clarissa, Minn., will marry Chad Atkinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Atkinson, Pleasant Grove, on Saturday, June 7, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will honor the couple that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Women's Cultural Center, 310 W. 500 North, Provo. The event is open to all friends and relatives. Attending the bride will be Michelle Swift, matron of honor, and Tammra Salisbury and Becky Nicponski. Best men will be Todd Atkinson, Gary Carlisle, Ron Ash and Mike Holman. The bride-elec- t graduated from Clarissa High and LDS Seminary. She is currently a junior nursing student at Westminster College of Salt Lake City Her fiance graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary. He is employed at Taylor, Bowen and Leavitt In-surance Agency in Provo. The couple will make their home in Pleasant Grove. Dan Harvey, Penny Dale to exchange vows in temple Penny Dale, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Dale of Elk Grove, California will marry Dan W. Harvey, son of Richard and JoAnn Harvey, former Pleasant Grove residents, now of Thornton, Idaho. The wedding will take place in the Oakland LDS Temple on Thursday, June 5, and a wedding reception will honor the young couple on Friday, June 6 in Elk Grove. A garden open house will be held on Saturday, June 21 from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at the Richard Harvey residence at 448 West 5251 South in Thornton, Idaho. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. The bride-ele- graduated from high school in Elk Grove, California and spent the past year in Idaho where she attended Ricks College. The prospective groom graduated from Madison High in Rexburg, Idaho and served an LDS mission in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is a student at Ricks College and is currently employed in Rexburg at Bevan's Wood Products. The couple will make their first home in Rexburg where they will continue their education in the fall. Dan Harvey Penny Dale Sharell Holmstead to wed Brad Miller in Provo Temple rites Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth. B. Holmstead of Pleasant Grove are pleased to announce the for-thcoming marriage of their daughter, Sharell, to Brad Albert M;:ler, son of Dr. and Mrs. William filler, Lehi. The couple will exchange vows in the Provo LDS Temple on June 7. A reception will honor the newlyweds that same date from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Manila LDS Chapel Grove, 8800 N. 3986 W., Pleasant Grove. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Attending the bride will be Kendra Holmstead, Julie Miller and Nancy Brailsford. Best man duties will be per-formed by Larry and Loren Russon, with Greg Holmstead, Michael Miller, Cabe Holmstead, Cody Holmstead, Devon Brailsford and William Brailsford serving as ushers. The bride-to-b- e is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School. She has attended BYU. She is currently working at American Express in Salt Lake City. The prospective groom is a graduate of Lehi High School. He is currently attending BYU. The couple will make their first home in American Fork. Brad Miller Sharell Holmstead Mark Sanderson named to elite medical honor society f Mark Sanderson, son of Norm and Emily Sanderson of Pleasant Grove, has been selected to be a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, a national honor medical society. Mark is a third-yea- r medical student at Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Those students selected to the elite group must be in the top 25 per cent of their class. , The goal of the society is to recognize and perpetuate excellence in the medical profession. Members selected in their junior year are chosen on the basis of their per-formance in the first and second years of medical school. A Pleasant Grove native, Mark graduated from BYU in December of 1978 with a major in pre-me- He earned his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Baylor University while he was serving in the Army. After he was released from the service he entered medical school, He hopes to specialize in some form ' of surgery. His mother said he has always wanted to be a doctor. Mark is married to the former Erin Carroll, daughter of Marguerite Carroll of Pleasant Grove. He and his wife have three children. Mark served an LDS mission in Korea.
