Monson V Mrs. Alfred (Ethel Barnett) Stanford, 89, of Oasis died in the American Fork Hospital April 15, 1986. She was born April 13, 1897 at Richmond, Cache County,- to John and Hattie Merrill Barnett. She married Alfred Stanworth in Fillmore on Dec. 31, 1913. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church serving in the various organizations, served as RElief Jack (Loenza) Willoughby, Oasis; Mrs. Mark (Eva) Abbott, American Fork; 24 grand-children; 68 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sisters: Mrs. August (Hattie) Neusbaum, Ogden; Mrs. Glen (Lillian) Christensen, Payson. She was preceded in death by a son, Earl, and a daughter, Gwen. Graveside services were held at the Oasis Cemetery Thursday, April 17. Society President for six years...-- ! She was preceded in death by two children: Linda and George. Services were held Tuesday, April 22, in the American Fork 8th Ward. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. American Fork Hospital will offer a free PMS lecture to be held May 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the hospital auditorium. Marilyn Gertsch, Utah Valley PMS Center director, will discuss the PMS issue and cover current beliefs about the cause and methods of screening and treat-- . ment. Discovering whether or not a woman has PMS first requires the ruling out of other medical or psychological problems.
