Silversmith Nelson Card of Thanks obituaries ) We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who expressed words of condolence and acts of sympathy and kindness at the time of the passing pass-ing of our mother, Winnie Nelson. We will always be grateful for the cards, offers of help, and the lovely food that was brought in. We'd also like to thank the Lehi Ambulance crew and the hospital staff for their efficient service. Schow Lorraine Sims Silversmith, 24, of Thoreau, N.M., died April 17, 1986, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Spanish Fork Canyon. She was born Feb. 18, 1962, in Rupert, Idaho, to Francis and Bixie Endito Sims. She married Boyd Silversmith, Silver-smith, the foster son of George and Evelyn Fannin of American Fork, on March 9, 1983, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a member of the LDS Church. She graduated from Brighton High School and Utah Technical College as a cosmetologist. She was employed at Procuts in Gallup, N.M. She is survived by her husband, mother and stepfather of tw N.M.; father of & Wash.; grandZj Mr. and Mrs Ar f Endito; brother sisters Kathleen C Barbara Endito Yazzie and Jason C all of Thoreau, N M Funeral services be held today, Apr in Gallup, NM d will be at N Cemetery. She was born Nov. 15, 1!X)9 in Lehi, to Herman Ernest and Hermine Hardy Osterloh. She married Joseph W. Shelton Dec. 24, 1934 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died in 1943. She married Harold Schow in 1946. He died in 1952. She attended Lehi schools and BYU, was a school teacher and homemaker. She had worked at Utah State Training School and Utah State Library. She had served as chorister and teacher in the LDS Church organizations and had a beautiful voice. She was secretary of the DUP and was a Relief Society visiting teacher. Survivors include one . son and two daughters: Joe Shelton, Mrs. Lee (Pauline) Lucero and Peck, with Russell Daly playing the prelude music. The invication was offered by Lee Lucero. Speakers included Bishop Phillip Ecker-sley; Ecker-sley; Jan Shelton, who gave the biographical sketch; President Glade Dalton and Patriarch Grant Christofferson. Musical numbers included "That Wonderful Won-derful Mother of Mine," by the Briggs Family; and an Organ Musical Medley by Donna Mitchell. Garry Sampson Samp-son gave the benediction. benedic-tion. Mary Elizabeth Andreason Shelley, 98, of Lehi, died Wednesday, Wed-nesday, April 16, 1986, in an American Fork care center of causes incident to age. She was born April 5, 1888 in Lehi, to Joseph and Eunice Flanders Andreason. She married Ernest William Shelley, Oct. 27, 1908 in Lehi. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Oct. 25, 1962. She was a homemaker and a member of the LDS Church. She is survived by two sons and two daughters: Stanford J. Shelley and Glen E. Shelley, both of Lehi; Mrs. Lois B. Waits, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Mildred Scott, Salt Lake City; 15 grand children; 45 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; two brothers: Ray Andreason, American Fork; and Wilford Andreason, Magna. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 19, at the Wing Mortuary Chapel, with Bishop Russell Felt officiating. Verl Shelley offered the family prayer, and Norene Kopinsky performed the prelude Dale P. Peters Elizabeth Alberta Adams Bennett, 87, of Alpine, died Wednesday, Wed-nesday, April 16, 1986 in Lehi. She was born July 7, 1899, in Alpine to Albert John and Ada Jane Mellor Adams. She married Silas Blaine Bennett May 14, 1925 in Provo. He later died. She was educated in Alpine and worked in Provo and Salt Lake City. She was a captain of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers for eight years. She was a member of the Alpine Seventh LDS Ward. Survivors include two sons, two daughters and two stepsons: Ralph A. Bennett, Pima, Ariz.; Mrs. Virginia Blaney and Paul A. Bennett, both Alpine; Mrs. Irene Edwards, Pleasant Grove; Frank Bennett and Burt Bennett, both American Fork; two sisters, one brother: Mrs. Jennie Wild, Mrs. Alice Brown and John Quincy Adams, all Alpine;' 43 grandchildren, grand-children, 94 great grandchildren, and 53 great great grandchildren. grand-children. He died April 14, 1986, in American Fork. The family prayer was given by J. Stanley Peters. Robert L. Scott offered the invocation, and Kathleen Van Wagoner performed the prelude and postlude. Speakers included Sandra Jensen, who read the life sketch; John C. Van Wagoner; Evan Brady; and Night, accompanied by Irene Ellison; an organ and piano duet by Kathleen and Shauna Van Wagoner; and a solo by Brent Whitlock, "Abide With Me 'Tis Eventide," accompanied ac-companied by Kathleen Van Wagoner. The grave was dedicated by Mack Holley. A James Nicholes Peterson, 24, of Springville, died at his residence Tuesday, April 15, 1986. He was born July 14, 1961 in Provo, the son of L.J. and Colleen Nicholes Peterson. He served three years in the U.S. Army in Texas and Germany. He was an auto mechanic at Barrett . Garage in Provo. He is survived by his parents: L.J. Peterson, Pleasant Grove, and Mrs. Colleen N. Cannon, Can-non, American Fork; brothers and sisters: Jay Peterson and Mrs. Monty (Jane) Banks, both of Salt Lake City; Matthew and Mrs. Mitchell (Judy) Powell, both of American Fork ; Carla , Jean Christen, Wendover; grandparents: grand-parents: .
