As United States Property and Feb j Fiscal Officer, Utah National vill Ik" Guard, he is responsible for all fiscal Pork and supply matters pertaining to operations of the Utah National Guard. His appointment to USP&FO, ren Utah, was made by Lieutenant ir "s General Emmett H. Walker, Chief of ranl the National Guard Bureau after nomination by Utah Governor Norman H. Bangerter, and Major General John L. Matthews, the Adjutant General of the Utah National Guard. Colonel Blackburn first entered military service on Jan. 4, 1954 and has just completed 32 years of continuous service. His service includes 18 years in the 1457th Engineer Battalion in American Fork, four years as commander of the 115th Maintenance Main-tenance Company and Annual Training Equipment Pool at Camp Williams; and three years as Commander, Combined Support Maintenance Shop, UTARNG, Salt Lake City. He also served five years as Director of Maintenance Utah Army National Guard, Salt Lake City, and, most recently, as Director of Military Personnel, HQ Utah Army Wyler Blackburn National Guard, Salt Lake City. He and his wife, the former Crela Lindquist, reside in American Fork. They are the parents of two children, Randy J. Blackburn He is the son of ' Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Blackburn of Wellington, Utah. |
