Show Mary C. Hill Susan Millar White obituaries ) Mary J. Wilcox Susan Millar White, 35, of Lindon, died Feb. 23, 1986 at her home. She was born July 18, 1950 in American Fork, a daughter of Leland S. and Bette Dunlavy Millar. She married Richard R. White - they were later divorced. She was a member of the LDS Church living in the Lindon Fifth Ward. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary 3372. She attended schools in Lindon and Pleasant Grove and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School where she was active in the band and G.A.A. She was presently attending Utah Tech in Orem. She had been employed em-ployed as a flagger on freeway construction and was a member of local labor union in Salt Lake City. Survivors include a son and a daughter; Richard LeRoy White, Hermiston. Oregon; Tammy Ann While, Lindon; her parents of Lindon. She was preceeded in death by a brother and a sister: Pauline Bird and Sam Millar. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Lindon Fifth Ward, 600 W. 100 South. Friends may call at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 S. 300 East, Pleasant Grove Wednesday Wed-nesday from 7 to 9 p.m. or Thursday at the church, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Mary Chipman Hill, 85, of Denver, Colo., died Sunday, Feb. 23, 1986 at her home in Denver of causes incident in-cident to age. She was born June 30, 1901 in Salt Lake City to Washburn and Margaret McLelland Chipman. She married Clarence S. Hill Sept. 13 ,1927 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She received her education in the American Fork schools and graduated from American Fork High School where she excelled ex-celled in music and debate. She was a state debate champion. She attended University of Utah and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega while there. She graduated from the University of Utah in 1925 and taught junior high school for one year. After her marriage, she lived in Salt Lake City. She was a member of the Society of Mayflower descendents, the Ladies Literary Club and president of Alpha Chi Omega's Mothers Club. The family moved to Denver in 1959, where they resided for the past 26 years. In Denver she was a volunteer worker at the Children's Hospital. Burial will be in the American Fork Citv Cemetery. Mary June Elizabeth Phillips Wilcox, 68, died Feb. 23, 1986 in Salt Lake City. She was born June 10, 1917 in Salt Lake City, the daughter of John Alexander and Elizabeth Helen Doherty Phillips. She married Richard Alvin Wilcox June 10, 1949 in Provo. She was a member of the American Fork 4th Ward. She lived in Price until 1956 when she moved to American Fork. She is survived by her husband, American Fork; two sons and one grandchildren; three sisters: Mrs. Clark (Marjorie) Lee, Bountiful; Mrs. Mervin (Betty) Cook, Willington, Utah; Mrs. Ernest (Rose ,Mary) Millslagle, Enumclaw, Wash. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and John Alexander Phillips Jr. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 4th Ward, 445 E. 300 North. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the American Fork City Cemetery. Rosa J. Thorne Leslie A. Johnson daughter: Robert Little, Pleasant Grove; John Wilcox and Mrs. Marvin (Sharon) Marsh, both of American Fork; 12 Steven Hardman Leslie Alden Johnson, 79, died Feb. 24, 1986, in American Fork. He was born Feb. 15," 1907, in Santaquin, Utah, to Alfred A and Mary Christine Borgsen Johnson. He married Fern Anderson in 1936 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was an electrician at Hill Field and a veteran of World War II. An active member of the LDS Church, he served as a scoutmaster, scout-master, teacher in the MIA and the Sunday School, an Elders Quorum President. He was a High Priest at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife of American Fork; five sons and five daughters: Lynn A. Johnson, Neldon P. Johnson, Mrs. Tom (Margaret) Hunsaker, Ivan R. Johnson, all of American Fork; Mrs. Lloyd (Josephine) Piatt, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Dayrl (Kathleen) Robins, Trementon; Mrs. Alan (Vickie) Grindstaff, Duchesne; Mrs. Randy (Gayle) Boudwin, Lancaster, Calif. ; Vernon W. Johnson, Plattsburgh, N.Y.; Elwin L. Johnson, Albuquerque, N.M.; 53 grandchildren; n great grandchildren; one brother, Grant Johnson, Santaquin. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m. , in the American Fork is Ward Chapel, 49 E. loo North. Burial will be in the American Fork City Cemetery. Rosa Johnson Baxter Thorne, 83, of Pleasant Grove died Feb. 22, 1986 at her home, following a long illness. She was born Sept. 24, 1902 in Lindon, Utah a daughter of Charles G. and Edith R. Ash Johnson. She married John C. Baxter May 31, 1922 in the Salt Lake DLS Temple. He died May 14, 1969. She m arried Elvin R. Thorne Nov. 16, 1974 in the Provo LDS Temple. He died October 7, 1982. She was an active member of the LDS Church living in the Pleasant Grove 12th Ward. She had served as president of the Relief Society and president of the Young Womens organization. She had taught in all of the auxilaries of the church. She was an avid genealogist having done research throughout her lifetime. She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She had worked with the senior citizens for many years. She had served as coordinator for Home Projects for the Deseret Industries for many years. She had worked as a midwife for many years and had assisted in the delivery of many babies. She had also worked as a telephone operator, as a clerk in Wilbergs store and in the school lunch program. Survivors include a son and a daughter: Lowell J. Baxter, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Acel (Elizabeth) Bielson, Roy; 8 grandchildren; grand-children; 27 great grandchildren; a brother: Cyril G. Johnson, American Fork; a step son and two step daughters: Max Thorne, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Ted (Jeneall) Fautin, Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Jack (Cleo) Kirk, Orem. Funeral services will be Wednesday at- 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove 12th Ward, 500 South at 200 East under the direction of Olpin Family Mortuary. Friends may call Wednesday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Timpanogos Memorial Gardens, Orem, Utah. Y . ' Steven Duane Hard-man, Hard-man, 30, of American Fork, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1986 in Provo of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was born Feb. 3, 1956 in American Fork, the son of Isaac LeRoy and Twila Taylor Hardman. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was employed with the Auto Parts Unlimited in Salt Lake City. Survivors include his parents, one sister and three brothers; Vicki Lynn Morse and Kyle Rex Hardman, both American Fork; Randy LeRoy Hardman and Mark Kevin Hardman, both Pleasant Grove; grandmother, Genne V. Peterson, Lakeview. Durrant, Randy Hardman, Kent Seals and Don Hatch. The family prayer was by Mark Hardman. Elizabeth Shill played the prelude and postlude and Kyle Hardman gave the invocation. Vicki Morse gave the life sketch. Speakers were Bill Robinson and Bishop Herschel N. Pedersen. Jennie Smith and Jill S. Gubler sang "I Know That My Redeemer . Lives" and "As I Have Loved You," accompanied by Jan S. McKinney. The benediction was by Don Hardman. The grave was dedicated by Lawrance Hardman. Burial was in the American Fork Cemetery. Gail B. Brierley Services will be Saturday, Feb. 22 in the American Fork Ninth LDS Ward. Services were under the direction of Bishop Bill Robinson of the American Fork Ninth Ward. He was born May 30, 1927 in Provo, a son of Orson Heber and Mary Emma Thomas Brierley. He married Wilma Sipra in 1951 in Tucson, Ariz. f.He.,,was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pleasant Grove. He was a member of the Local No. 182 Boilermakers Union. He was employed at Jim Bridger Power Plant, Point of Rocks, Wyo. He is survived by his widow of American Fork; a son and a daughter: James L. Brierley of Provo; Mrs. Leon (Karen) Lun-ceford, Lun-ceford, Nephi; seven grandchildren; three sisters and- two brothers: Mrs. Eldon (Vira) Baum and Berniece Nielson, both of Provo;' James O. Brierley, Spanish Fork; Orvilla Robinson, Fillmore; Clyde Brierley, California. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove First Baptist Church, 350 E.
