The hardest thing to get used to at junior high as been the homework and the five minute break between classes. She also suggests more activities for the school. Joseph is the son of Jerry and Elon -Taylor. His favorite class -is math and his favorite teacher is Hollis. His hobby is coin collecting. He thinks he was selected to be a Trojan because he is attentive. His favorite books is "Slave Dancer." Difficult math has been the hardest har-dest thing he has had to get used to at junior high. Tanya, daughter of Nyle and Jean Harris, says her favorite class is sewing. Her favorite teachers are Miss Finch and Mrs. Ray. She likes to play the piano, sing, and she enjoys playing basketball. Her favorite books is "Witch's Bridge." She says the hardest thing to get used to at junior high has been school lunch. David is the son of Alan and Elaine Bezzant. His favorite class is metal shop and his favorite teachers are Mrs. Cherrington and Mr. Dowse. His hobbies are skiing, baseball and soccer. He thinks he was selected to be a Trojan because he is a good aide and kid. His favorite books are Louis LaMour's and Lee Nielson. He said the hardest thing about junior high is getting to class in five minutes. Trojans of the Month for November were Jenny Gregory and Brian Maughan, seventh grade; Hollie Snyder and Joseph A. Taylor, eighth grade; and Tanya Harris and David Bezzant, ninth grade. - Jenny's favorite classes are history, reading and ' math:-' 'Her'-favorite 'Her'-favorite teachers are Mr. Christensen, Miss Christensen, and Mr. Griffin. Her hobbies are dancing, spending money and collecting stickers. She felt she was probably selected as a Trojan because she tries to be nice and she gets good grades, pays attention and participates. Her favorite books are "Dream of the Swans," "Indians in the Cupboard," Cup-board," "Where the Red Fern Grows," and "Ghosts." She said the hardest thing to get used to at junior high has been everything, but probably having seven different teachers and the homework. Her suggestions for the school would be to have different assemblies assem-blies that would encourage the students to be proud of the school. She also suggested different dress-UP dress-UP days such as the 50's, punk, p.j.s, future, red, white and blue, etc. ; Brian is the son of LeRoy and Teri ! Maughan. His favorite class is math and his favorite teachers are Hollis a"d Hatman. His hobbies are Playing sports. He thinks he was selected as a Trojan because he gets his homework done. His favorite books "The Hobbit," and "Bear Bryant." The hardest thing to get used to at he junior high has been changing teachers every period, he said. He suggests more activities for the school. Hollie is the daughter of Russell a Donna Snyder. Her favorite class is math and her favorite teacher is Rees. Her hobbies are "ooking, sewing, and playing the Piano. She feels she was selected because 2 try'ng her hardest in her schoolwork. |
