Show Fire Dept. thanks unknown firefighters Pleasant Grove Fire Chief Frank Mills said today that his department wished to express their thanks and appreciation to two unidentified men who put out a serious auto fire last month following an accident near their places of business. Chief Mills said that the quick action of the men may have averted a disaster. He said that one of the men is employed at Southam-Warburton Southam-Warburton Aluminum and the other at National Transmission. The men used fire extinguishers to put out a blaze that erupted when two vehicles collided at 200 South and State Road. The injured might not have survived had the men not put the fire out, the chief said. The blaze was extinguished when the fire department arrived and they washed away the gasoline and stood by in case the fire erupted again. |
