Show I Police investigate vandalism Ilk -.i; -! . : It .Pleasant .Grove., Police are investigating in-vestigating several incidents of ha vandalism which have occurred in it, recent days. ii Vandals damaged a shed located vi1 at 915 S. 1600 East and belonging to Warren Brandow by throwing cinderblocks and large rocks on the top of it, breaking the signal light and gauges on a Yamaha motor-I motor-I cycle, breaking four double paned I windows and two sliding glass i windows. Damage was estimated at $750. A pellet or BB gun was used for much of the damage. Owen West, 850 N. 1020 East, reported that a rear vent window in his car was broken by a pellet or BB : gun. Damage was estimated at $70. Both incidents were investigated by Officer Jay Thornton. Reese Larsen, 492 W. 100 South, Lindon, reported that the lamp in front of his house was shot out by a BB or pellet gun. Damage was set at $50. Officer Thornton has suspects in the incident. Several juveniles were arrested this past week and referred to Juvenile Court for drinking, 1 shoplifting, and vandalism. Carter's Welding, 681 West State Road, reported to Officer Lonnie Wilson that a Coke machine had been pried open and about $5 in change was. takea Damage ;to. the machine was listed at $25. .. Mike Swapp, 106 N. 1240 East, tolc Officer Thornton that several items had been taken from his propertj since December. One item was a battery charger valued at $160 anc two firearms, a 16 gauge shotgun and a 20 gauge shotgun, valued at $250 were taken. Sam McKinney, 25 S. 300 East reported to Officer Cody Cullimon that the windshield and driver's sidt window on his vehicle had beei broken. Damage was estimated al $250. The officer has a suspect in the incident. |
