Show Jane Walker Elsmore to be honored at eightieth birthday open house Jane Walker Elsmore will be honored on her 80th birthday with an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Orem 53rd Ward, 100 N. Main. All friends and relatives are invited. in-vited. No invitations will be sent. Jane was born Oct. 17, 1905 in Spring City, Utah, to Martin and Mary Zabriskie Walker. She was the seventh of nine children. The family moved to the Provo Bench area in April 1912. She received her schooling in Lindon and Pleasant Grove. She married Donald George Elsmore Oct. 17, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had one daughter, Ruby Jane Elsmore Hindley, who presently lives in Fort Collins, Colo. Mr. Elsmore passed away March 1970. Jane has been active in the LDS Church all of her life, serving a mission in Washington from 1927 to 1929. She worked many years in the various organizations, as well as serving nine years in the Provo Temple. She has six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
