Cannonball II is a rerun By SHARON MORREY Cannonball II is mistitled. It would be more appropriately named Cannonball Too! because if you've seen one, you've seen them both. And frankly, unless you are big on watching Burt Reynolds have a party with any and all of his buddies, pass it up. Cannonball II offers nothing new. Every face in the movie is one you've seen before and there is no plot, just a series of cutesy jokes and bad lines. I didn't hate the whole show, but then I'm easy to please. I need my sleep and didn't mind not having to stay awake to see what happened. And I liked the episodes with Susan Anton and "Daisy" from Dukes of Hazzard speeding along in skin-tight jumpsuits and jazzy cars. After that it got a little maudlin. I felt like an onlooker at a . Hollywood bash, everybody knew everybody and no one would tell me . why they were laughing. The acting is bad. The movie is strange. And I would suggest the , -film track be loaded into a cannon. Then, quick, somebody light it.
