Sheep competition: Junior Exhibits, first show; Open class sheep, the second show; and invitational exhibit will be the third show. Dairy Goats will also have three shows: Junior Exhibits, first show; Open Class Goats, second show' and the 3rd show will be non competitive exhibits brought in through the Intermountain Dairy Goat Association. The Swine Show will be for the first time by the Utah Pork Producers and there will be two shows. Junior Livestock Exhibits will be the first show; and the second show will be strictly an Open Marketing Hog Show with hogs remaining on display throughout the fair. Poultry Show will be held Sept. 18 through 22 only. All standard varieties listed in the American Standard of Perfection and Bantam varieties listed in the ABA Bantam Standard will be accepted. The Pigeon Show will begin on Sept. 7 through 11, and will include Racing Homers and Birmingham Rollers. All other pigeons will be in the second show beginning Sept. 12 to 17. Rabbits will be by the Wasatch Rabbit Breeders and the first show will be the 4-- Rabbit Show, Rabbit Pet Show and new this year is the Cavy Show. The second show will be Sept. 11 to 16, and the third show Sept. 17 to 22. Pick up entry blanks at 155 N. 1000 West, Salt Lake City, or call John Bleggi has been assigned as livestock coordinator this year. This year's Horse Show will be sponsored by the newly organized Utah All Breed Horse Show Association. Women's Council to hold social The opening social for the Provo Women's Council will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 29, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the newly completed out-door reception area located ad-jacent to the Women's Council building.
