Show Attorney suggests changes in home occupation ordinance Ken Clark, an attorney, asked the Pleasant Grove City Council to consider some changes to its home occupation ordinance to allow employees who are not members of the family. Since the main objection to hiring employees outside of the home in a home occupation is parking problems, he suggested that the employees be required to not park their cars at the home, and that a fine be imposed for those who do so. He noted that with high technology coming to the forefront more people will be working out of their homes and some of them may require the services of a secretary or someone similar. He suggested that the council consider some of these thoughts and change the ordinance accordingly. Mr. Clark was asked to discuss the subject with the Planning Commission which will make a recommendation to the city council. |
