Born on October 6, 1904 in Huslet, Leeds, Yorkshire, England to Benjamin and Maud Elizabeth Beswick Newsome. Married . Clarence Edward Allgaier on March 17, 1926 in the Logan LDS Temple. Member LDS Church, Redwood First and Second Wards; taught primary for 30 years, Junior Sunday School; active in Relief Society, and served as a counselor; enjoyed being a visiting teacher. Survivors: Husband, Salt Lake City; two daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Lois) Oates, serving an LDS Mission Mis-sion in Round Lakes, Illinois; Mrs. D. David fbillips spoke the in-vocation in-vocation and Kenneth I Taylor gave the life sketch and remarks. A musical number "Where Love Is" was sung by granddaughters Jane Phillips, Karen Smith, Janet Shumway, Holly and Marily Hill and Pamela Frost, accompanied by Barbara Bar-bara T. Reese. President C. Richard Devey was the speaker. A grandson, Bruce T. Reese sang the beautiful song "Oh, That I Were An Angel." accompanied by Bar bara T. Reese. Bishop J.H. Hadfield offered remakrs and Lydia Kirkpatric presented an organ medley. The benediction was by Michael D. Shumway. Dedication of the grave in the American Fork Cemetery was by Chester Hill. Pallbearers were grandsons, Clark Taylor, Brent Hill, Dennis Bleak, Glen Taylor, David Hill, Allan Bleak and Bruce T. Reese. Alice Knudsen Francis LEHI- Alice Catherine ft Knudsen Frank K Francis, 93, died Sun-, Sun-, jay, July i 1982 in l$fc Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was born August 24, 3I 1888 in Lehi to Christian and Sarah Ottesen 3 . Knudsen. j she married John Wilford Frank on December 15, 1909 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died February 3, 1920. She married ; Robert H. Francis November 7, 1935. He died July 25, 1954. She was a seamstress and lived in Rock Island, 111., Boise, Idaho and Bountiful. Since 1956, she had lived in Bartlesville. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Irvin (Sarah) Allen Dickerson, Bartlesville; 15 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Vera Chipman, Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Monday in the Wing Mortuary Chapel in Lehi. Burial was in the Lehi City Cemetery. Alfred Jacobsen Passes Away PL GROVE- Alfred Jacobson, 59, 90 E. Maple Lane, died July l 2, 1982 in American t Fork Hospital. I He was born August 31, 1923 in Madelia Minnesota to Alfred and Anne Jacobson. He married Arlene Kelley. ... They were later divor- ced. He married Patricia Foot on March 19, 1979 in Elko Nevada. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and a veteran of World i War II. He had worked as a Brick Layer and had been the owner and operator of the Hunger Hut of American Fork. He is survived by his widow, Pleasant Grove, four sons and one r daughter: Russell, Weston, Idaho; Chris, Mesa, Arizona; John, Madelia Minn.; Mrs. James (Cheryl) Karalas, Mankato, Minn.; Craig, Lewis-ville, Lewis-ville, Minn.; one stepson step-son and two step daughters: Kathleen Sterdivant, Frederick, Mich.; Terry Foot, Vemal, Utah; Dawn Foot, Pleasant Grove; 13 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 7, 1982 at 11 a.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Blaine Gray, counselor in the Pleasant Grove 12 Ward Bishopric. Pallbearers Pall-bearers were Russell, John, Chris, and Craig Jacobson, James Karals and Terry Foot. The prelude and postlude were played by Sandra Walker. Prayers were given by Richard Monson, Garth Christiansen and the grave was dedicated dedica-ted by Doug Adams. The life sketch was given by Ray Beasley. Speakers were Mac Mills and Garth Read. Sandra Walker played play-ed an organ medley. Military rites were provided by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2162. Helen Marble Dubois Snider Dies LIND0N- Helen Marble Dubois Snider, 68, 94 South 200 East, Lindon, died July 7, I 1982 in Utah Valley Hospital following a stroke. She was born April 25, 1914 in Chicago to Edwin Horace and Beraiece Ruhl Marble. She married Charles DuBois on August 22, 1935 in Brigham City Utah. He died November 22, 1958. ' She married Michael Snider on December 10, 1962 in Los Angeles. She spent her childhood child-hood days and attended school in Brigham City and at Weber State College for two years. She moved to Los Angeles where she received cosmetologist training, working in that field for many years. She was an active member of the LDS church and had worked in stake and ward auxiliaries. She had served as a music director and choir member throughout her lifetime. Survivors include her husband, Lindon; and one son and one daughter: Steven DuBois, American Fork; Mrs. Darryl (Jackie) Bergstrom, West Lake Village, Calif, 11 grand children; three sisters, Mrs. Venice Davis, Mrs. Ronald (Hortense) Cringan, both of Escondido, Calif.; Mrs. Glen (Melba) Burt, Brigham City. Funeral services were held Monday, July 12, 1982 at 11 a.m. in the Lindon First Ward. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Bishop David Beagley. Pallbearers Pall-bearers were Darryl Bergstrom, Dennis Jensen, Steven M. DuBois, Mark d. DuBois, the benediction benedic-tion was given by E. Kay Brown and the grave was dedicated by Steven DuBois. A vocal solo was given by Jackie Bergstrom accompanied accom-panied by Valerie Gibson, the grandchildren grand-children sang "Where Love Is" and "I Am a Child of God", Steven M. DuBois sang accompanied accom-panied by Michelle DuBois who also gave a piano solo. The life sketch was given by Bishop Ronald Knudsen and speakers were John and Elma Fugal, Bishop Donald R. Herst and Bishop Beagley. |
