Show Soccer Has Girls Day The Utah Youth Soccer Soc-cer Association (UYSA) will be sponsoring "Girls Day" on Saturday Satur-day November 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Jordan Intermediate School, 1040 West 600 South, Salt Lake City. Girls soccer is new, and growing in Utah, proving that soccer is not just a game for boys anymore. The Girls League, which consists of 22 teams, has just completed their first season. "Girls Day" will provide an opportunit for interested girls throughout the state, ages 6 to 14 to see soccer soc-cer in action. A clinic will be held that day where soccer skills will be introduced and demonstrated by participating par-ticipating coaches, all of whom volunteer their time and talents. There is no charge for the day's activities, and spectators are encouraged. en-couraged. The Utah Youth Soccer Soc-cer Association is affiliated af-filiated with the United State Soccer Federation which includes in-cludes all pro and college organizations, and U.S. Olympics, which is affiliated with FIFA, the world soccer board.
