Show Utah Trade Tech Offers Pre -registration for Fall Beginning on July 5th and continuing con-tinuing through the remainder of the summer, pre-registration will be u nder way for fall quarter at Utah Technical College at Provo and Orem. Openings still exist in most of the College's more than forty vocational-technical vocational-technical training programs but according ac-cording to Utah Tech Dean of Student Services, Dr. Wayne Kearney, Kear-ney, many courses will fill rapidly and persons hoping to get the training they need should pre-register as soon as possible. The registration office on the Provo campus will be open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays to accomodate students and help them pre-register. Students who still need to apply for admission or who may wish advisement advisem-ent from a counselor should contact the office of Student Services, also located on the Provo Campus. Business students can get advisement ad-visement at the Orem Campus Business Building. Utah Technical College at Provo offers both Associate of Applied Science Degrees and Certificates in most programs with short courses and open entry plans in some areas. The College is presently operating on the Provo Campus and the partially par-tially complete Orem Campus. The School of Business and Automotive Trades areas are presently located at the new facility in Orem with the new learning Resource Center at Orem scheduled to open this fall. Programs in the remaining areas of study are still taught in Provo. Because College officials expect a record enrollment this fall they are encouraging everyone, especially returning students, to register early. Early registration insures first opportunity op-portunity to choose the classes one needs for graduation. Early registration will also eliminate the need for the student to stand in long lines on regular registration days September 21 and 22. |
