THURSDAY, JULY 28, 1977 Earlin Walker Is Hostess to Pleasant Grove Variety Club Earlin Walker was hostess to the Variety Club last Thursday evening on her patio. It was a lovely summer-evenin- g and the view of her beautiful back yard and the in the distance made it complete. Mrs. Walker served a very delicious luncheon assisted by her grandaughter Charlene Carter. Everyone enjoyed the evening of just visiting and viewing the scenery. Clever favors were given to each one and Earlin recieved a hostess gift. Those present were Evelyn Schoonover, Beth Warburton, Margaret Kelly, Mary Swenson, Juanita Larsen, Mary Harper, Eva Reynolds, Ida Halliday, Myrle and Dorothy Walker. Society MISS JUDY OLSEN Judy Olsen, Ronald Brailsford Will Marry in Manti Temple where she was working and enjoying the beaches. Mr. Brailsford is a Pleasant Grove High School graduate. He attended C.S.U. and B.Y.U. then completed a Nuclear engineering course in the U.S. Navy and served his tour of duty on a fast attack nuclear submarine. He served a full time mission for the L.D.S. church in Australia and a stake mission in Hawaii. The couple plan to make their first home in Pleasant Grove. Judy Olsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reid Olsen of Kent Washington will marry Ronald Brailsford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Brailsford of Pleasant Grove, Utah. The couple will be married July 29 in the Manti L.D.S. Temple. A Hawaiian garden reception will honor the couple on July 30 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Fryer, 690 North Locust Ave. Lindon. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. In case of inclement weather the reception will be in the Lions Sportsman center 6?? East Center Pleasant Grove. The bride graduated from Washington State University with a degree in interior design. Peterson, Jr. of Pleasant Grove will become the .bride of Glenn Arlin Williams on Aug. 6th, at a ceremony to be performed at the Bungalow. Bishop Clin-ton Jackson will officiate. Mr. and Mrs. Boyde G. Williams of American Fork are parents of the bridegroom. An open house reception will honor the couple on Aug. 6th from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple plan to reside in Orem following their marriage. Chamberlain Mr. Chamberlain is a graduate of American Fork High School and served a LDS mission in Argentina. The couple will reside in the Pleasant Grove-Alpin- e area and Mr. Chamberlain will continue his work as a brick mason. Christy Blackham will marry Dan E. Chamberlain in a ceremony to be performed Aug. 6 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will honor the couple that evening at the Manila 2nd Ward Chapel. The bride to be is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Max Allen Blackham, Pleasant Grove. Parents of Mr. Chamberlain are Mr. and Mrs. Zenneth Kent Cham-berlain, Alpine. Attending the bride will be Dennyce Carson, maid of honor, Sheryl Pack, Shannon Chamberlain, and sisters of the bride, Leslie, Lisa, Sharlene and Carolyn. Miss Blackham graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and also attended Ricks College for one year. rvi KIM OLSEN AND MISS KAREN FOOTE Karen Foote and Kim Olsen Married Today in Provo Temple Karen Foote became the bride of Kim Scott Olsen this morning in a ceremony per-formed in the Provo LDS Temple. Karen is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood E. Foote, Pleasant Grove. Kim is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H Hugo Olsen, Morgan. A wedding breakfast was hosted by the groom's paren-ts following the ceremony. A reception honoring the couple will be held tonight in the Manila Ward Cultural Hall. Iverson announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Rebecca to Douglas A. Mayoh son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Mayoh of Heber. The couple will be married Aug. 3 in Manti L.D.S. Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the home of the brides parents.
