Show Orem Third Grade Classes Visit at P.G. DUP Museum Ninety nine pupils of the Third grades of the Westmore jchool at Orem, who visited the Pioneer Museum and log cabin were very interested in the glimpes of pioneer life they saw. Many of them had never known any means of lighting except electricity, or any laundry laun-dry equipment other than an automatic washer, or any harvester har-vester of grain except the grain combine. They were surprised sur-prised at seeing the coal oil lamps, the old washboard and the cradle for gathering up the grain to be threshed. The classes were under the direction of their teachers, Mrs. Ruth Sandren and Mrs. Lela Roudebaugh. Guides were Mrs. Nora Macfarlane and Mrs. Lucile Walker. |
