Show Seniors at PGHS to Hear Tech College Representative A representative of Utah Technical College at Provo will be at Pleasant Grove High School on Thursday, October 28 to explain to seniors what they may expect if they attend Utah Tech following graduation. gradua-tion. Vocational counseling will be available as part of the presentation, pre-sentation, along with discussions discuss-ions of job opportunities, rates of pay and working conditions in jobs for which the student may be trained at Utah Tech. The presentation will be part of a "Collgee Day" at the high school in which representatives represent-atives of 13 Utah colleges and universities will take part. It will be a port - high school orientation program for the seniors, giving them the opportunity op-portunity to learn wvt is available for them e state's institutions of ngr learning. The 13 representatives will stake similar "College Days" at 91 high schools throughout the state. Participating in addition to Utah Techical College at Provo will be Brigham Young University, Uni-versity, University of Utah, Weber, Utah State University, Snow, Dixie, College of Eastern East-ern Utah, Southern Utah State College, Westminister, LDS Business College, Stevens-Hen-ager and Utah Technicau College Col-lege at Salt Lake. |
