Show Lindon City to Vote Three New Councilman In Next Tuesday In Lindon City's election for three councilmen next week, voters will vote in two places, by district. All voters registered in District 6 (east of Locust Avenue and Center Street) will vote at the Lindon Elementary School. District 10 voters will vote at the Lindon City office building. Lindon Citizens Party have three candidates, Wayne Peay, Reed H. Walker and Darrell Frampton. Lindon Progressive Party have put up LeRoy (Sam) Fryer, Arthur Ray Shepherd Shep-herd and ElDon Keetch. Running as in independent is a seventh candidate, Dennis Ruffell. Mr. Ruffell filed with enough signatures of local Lindon Lin-don residents to get his name on the ballot. Lindon is facing many problems, prob-lems, most of them because of being a small community, but a growing residential area. They have many problems concerning con-cerning police protection, water wat-er and sewer problems and streets and roads have to be kept up. It takes good men to administer these problems with the amount of money they have to spend. If Lindon citizens want a voice in who governs their city affairs, Tuesday, Nov. 2 is the day they should be heard. Let's not wait until the election is over to gripe about the selection selec-tion of councilmen. Voice your opinion on election day. |
