'L "Or I ' 1 ELIZABETH MILLAR Honored on 85th birthday Elizabeth Millar Honored on 85th Birthday Elizabeth Millar of Lindon was honored on her 85th birthday birth-day last Saturday, October 23, by seven of her children, six grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. great-grandchild. The party was held at the Bear River Service, situated on the bank of the Bear River, a-mong a-mong the pines in the High Uinta Uin-ta Mounains of Utah. Earl and Lois Fredrickson, owners of the Bear River Service, Ser-vice, presented her with a beautiful beau-tiful birthday cake decorated to duplicate the "tall pines, beautiful beau-tiful mountains, wildlife and the famous Bear River." Those in attendance to wish Mrs. Millar happy birthday were children Earl and Leah Millar, PI. Grove; Florence and Arvid Butler, Holladay; Elsie Williams, Magna; Leland and Bette Millar, Lindon; Clarence and Neeley Millar, Lindon; Richard and Carma Millar, of Pleasant Grove. Also present were grandchildren grandchild-ren Rowland and Leslie Butler, Salt Lake; Nadine Williams, of Magna; Elizabeth and Ken Smith, Holladay; Susan M. White, and Pauline and Bill Bird, Pleasant Grove; Wendy Butler, great grandchild grand-child of Salt Lake City was al so present. Ellis and Rossella Millar of Alaska and Paula Millar of Seattle, Washington visited with Mrs. Millar during the day, but were unable to attend the party because of Ellis becoming becom-ing ill. An evening of dancing and visiting was enjoyed by all. During the evening Mrs. Millar Mil-lar was honored by all the deer hunters and partners attending the dance, and by Ranger Jim and Beulah Marshall. |
