Dozier also suggested sug-gested that if the board approved the proposal, additional funds be made available to hire a professional to ensure en-sure the track is installed correctly Dozier suggested that the trak and the berm work be done simultaneously because the heavy equipment needed to do the berm work could possibly harm the track. " "While completion of an outdoor I athletic and activities facility has "always held a high priority for the high school, we have been realistic about the potential of obtaining completion com-pletion of the facility in years past," Dozier stated in his prepared proposal. pro-posal. , i "In a separate document provided to the Board, we have shown how we have worked to provide for district needs during that period of time' without impacting the budgeC-in .,.-( , areas, where needs were more pressing press-ing anil apparent," he added. Dozier apparently was referring to the private funding of a press box and a concession stand at the foot-ball foot-ball stadium, among other projects.! lf "By 'conservative estimate we believe those efforts have resulted in approximately $530,000 in savings to the district. But we have exhausted our ability to continue the long-term project on a private basis," he add-ed. add-ed. "Based upon these considerations rand the fact that the district now j possesses the fiscal resources to bet-i' bet-i' ter address needs, we perceive this proposal to be a timely and reasonable one." ;;City recreation director Steve ; Haugen and Park City Ski Team Ex-?
