Show MgM Music The tempo picks up at the Cowboy You can warm up with some rock and roll by the Tempo Timers at the Cowboy Bar this weekend or relax to a mellower beat at the new Upstairs Gallery and Expresso Bar located at 562 Main St. Park City's night spots are offering a variety of tempos to suit your taste after the sun goes down this week. The Cowboy Bar A new rock and roll group from Salt Lake City, the Tempo Timers, will be playing at the Cowboy Bar Thursday night. The band features the former lead guitarist from the Dynatones. The music starts at 9 p.m. On Friday and Saturday night the Ititz will take over the Cowboy bandstand with a repertoire of top 40 tunes. Down Under Folk singer Kat James strums and hums at the Down Under Wednesday Wednes-day through Saturday evening. She is a favorite among the locals some of whom have been known to join in for a number or two. Grub Steak The contemporary vocal duo Milligan and Diehl will provide the dinner music at the Grub Steak Friday and Saturday evening. A Horse of a Different Color Mellow rock is at the top of the menu at the Horse of A Different Color Thursday through Saturday where a deejay spins records for your listening and dancing pleasure. Kimball Art Center Classical guitarist Bob Weisenfeld will be playing music to browse by when the Kimball Art Center Christmas Boutique opens this Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Ryan's Locals get their chance to break into the entertainment business every Thursday night at Ryan's. Jam night starts at 9 p.m. and is strictly BYOI (bring your own instrument). Sneakers Kelly Wright plays classical guitar in the dining room at Sneakers Friday and Saturday night from 7 :30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Stein Eriksen Lodge Vocalist and piano player Kate McCutchan entertains guests at Stein Eriksen Lodge in the main lobby Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Her music ranges from popular show tunes and folk songs to original work. Upstairs Gallery and Expresso Bar A new addition to the Main Street music scene, the Upstairs Gallery and Expresso Bar will offer classical guitar music by Bob Weisenfeld Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. |
